What have we been up to....

Hello all, it has been a busy week for us at our household. G had all of last week off, so we hung out at home on Monday and Tuesday, and then took off to the Spokane area on Wednesday...our first trip with miss H. We stayed at a place called Triple play in Hayden, ID, it had an indoor water park, bowling alley and arcade. E was a bit freaked out at first but began to love it and threw a bit of a fit when it was time to leave. Of course I forgot my camera and had to buy one of those little throw away disposable cameras, so I will post photos once I get that developed. We went bowling the second night we were there and E loved pushing the ball down the little ramp thing. She didn't understand that not every time was her turn and had some problems with letting mom and dad go. H just hung out in her chair the whole time, enjoying all the noise. We got home on Friday and I went to work all day Sat. And wouldn't you know it, the entire family got ill over the weekend, and we have spent the last couple of days trying to recover. E has ear infections in both ears, and the rest of us have the virus that started E's ear infections. G started his new job on Monday and is liking it a lot so far.
That's about all going on in our life at the moment. Everyone is going to go to bed early tonight and try to recover from this sickness....yuck.

Staying Warm

We have been dumped on with snow, so I bundled little H up this morning on our way to take G-ma to the airport. She looked so cute and warm I had to take a photo.

Hope you are all having a great day and staying warm :)

Starting Young

My little girl is starting her nursing career young (Not that I have any preference or anything :) She was walking around in her little "Nurse in training" scrubs on the other day. And then yesterday I found her trying to change her sister's diaper and put diaper cream on her bum. Who knows...maybe she will also be a NICU nurse someday !!!

The Girls

Above are some photos of my girls. The older one E, is 1 1/2 years, the younger one, H, is 3 months old!

Hi all, I am new to blogging although my sister in law Chelee has been doing it for a while and I have been perusing her blogs. I love reading about other peoples lives and thought posting my own blog might help me deal with the monontony that can be the life as a stay at home mom. I have two little girls E and H, both under two years old who keep me very busy. I have a wonderful husband who I have been married to for 4 years now. I work part time as an RN in the neonatal intensive care unit, and I love it. I hope to post on this blog at least weekly. Kel
